Course: Appetizer
INGREDIENTS
Chicken
-
3 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and wings (tips saved for stock or discard)
-
1/4 cup Tuscan Blend Olive Oil [Buy Now]
-
salt and pepper; any other seasonings you want
-
Also needed: baking sheet, parchment paper
Glaze
-
6 Tablespoons Honey Balsamic Vinegar [Buy Now]
-
4 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
-
4 Tablespoons water
PROCEDURE
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the wings with oil and spices. Place wings - skin side up - on the prepared baking sheet. Roast them for 45 to 50 minutes. They will be cooked through and the skin nicely browned and crisped.
While the wings are cooking, make the glaze. Place all of the ingredients in a sauce pan and heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
When the wings are done, toss them in the sauce. Serve immediately.
